RAYMOND E. HOOPER, D.D.S.

On Sunday, March 21, 2010, of Silver Spring, MD. He was born in Erie, PA in 1930 where he graduated from Gannon College in 1952. After his service in the Army, he graduated Georgetown Dental School in 1958; then served in the Public Health Service from 1958 to 1964. He retired from his private practice in Rockville in the late 90’s.

Dr. Hooper is the beloved husband of 51 years to Patricia Hooper; devoted father of Laurel DeRosa, Michelle Hooper, Raymond, III, Patrick and Peter Hooper; cherished grandfather of Kristin, Katie, Annie, Tyler, Nicholas, Brianna, Justin, Megan, Rachel, Grace, Hannah and Gabriela; brother of Patricia Connolly; father-in-law of Joseph DeRosa, Bethany, Alicia and Christine Hooper.

On Saturday, March 20, 2010, Ruby Lee (Beauchamp) Beach, of Silver Spring, MD, widow of the late Dr. Eugene H. Beach, died following a brief illness. She was born March 15, 1922 at Hyacinth, VA, and married November 11, 1944, at Washington, DC. She was long active in a variety of church, community and historical organizations. She is survived by her only child, Eugene H. (Lori) Beach, Jr. of Highland, MI and three grandchildren, Joshua D. S. (Laura) Beach, Erin E. (Bryan) Sandford, and Ashley E. Beach.
